Enforced rest
I feel worse than if I'd just done an Ironman - I won't bore you with the symptoms but I am going to make sure that when I am back to full fitness I am not going to take it for granted. At least it's just a chest infection and not lying in a ward some where battling something serious. Normal service should be restored in the next few days I hope.

ReplyDeleteDid my walk on Saturday morning with Maz who ended up with sore feet and a blister (these unfit people) and we swim yesterday so trying to stick to your training schedule. Got an extra workout on Saturday on the way back from the footie - hit an effing pothole and had to change a tyre on the hard-shoulder of the M8 on the drivers side. It took me 15mins which is not bad for a guy who got genuinely knackered hoovering for the wife last year!
Get well soon without spreading your lurgy.
Having encouraged all these people to set some exercise goals you have an enforced rest! Neil seems well into his training and I actually managed my first early morning swim in the UK - not quite the same as swimming/floating in the Carribean. Try to get your wife to massage some ointment into your chest - that should take your mind off being ill.
ReplyDeleteGet better soon.

Swimming in the UK - slumming it Nick! Hope you keep it up the swimming as it's a great fitness. At least Neil is keeping up his end of the bargain!
ReplyDeleteNeil - keep up the good work. I'll be back soon enough so keeping working hard!
